If you would like to contribute to this years’ gallery please send your artwork to the usual
address. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 26th August and please mark your emails ‘Kirby Portrait Gallery’.

Inhumans

The Inhumans by Layron DeJarnette

Gorgon, Karnak, Medusa, Triton and Black Bolt courtesy of Layron DeJarnette.
Layron writes: “The illustration is of “The Inhumans” which is based on a sketch card I did for Upper Deck’s Marvel Premier trading card series.  I gave it a retro look by adding dot screens, textured paper and color tints in Photoshop”.

Spider-Man

Rick Baiker inks original Kirby pencils.
Rick writes: “I took a stab at inking a Kirby piece. I have always liked the way Jack “couldn’t” draw Spider-man, and the unique look he brought to the character.”
