A huge thank you to Enrico Salvini for sharing this collection of Galactus artwork by Italian artist, Giorgio Comolo. Giorgio works as a professional advertising illustrator who developed an early love for superheroes and the men who drew them, Jack Kirby in particular. You can find more from Giorgio’s work at Red Sector Art.
Wow.
20th Century Fox should have consulted this guy before they started FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

jesus christ…speechless.
Very cool looking! The intricate detail creates a real sense of the massive size of Galactus.
Very cool!!! Where can I get a print of these, especially the first.
Awesome. Hey, Giorgio, can you do the Celestials next? (Just in case you need a challenge…)
@ PoP-Art: I’m sorry but, due to copyright laws, we can’t do prints of these.
“We” as in “Giorgio the gifted one and me, his lowly and talentless art dealer”… 🙂
@ John S.: don’t worry, we have a number of Celestials in the archive too and I’ll send’em to Jason with time. He already has another batch of Galactus waiting in line…
Thanks, Enrico. ETERNALS is one of my all-time favorite comics, and if Giorgio could do something this cool with Galactus, I can’t wait to see his interpretation of the Celestials (and maybe even their famous spacecraft, from issue 2)! Please pass on my compliments to him for this phenomenal work!
@ John S.: Eternals is one of my all-time faves too, the Celestials among the greatest comics creations ever, and Giorgio shares this view himself, so you won’t be disappointed!
Fabulous! Thanks, Enrico!
