Upcoming Kirby – Golden Age Cap v2

by

It’s taken about three years, but here’s another set of four issues of the S&K series. Some of the material is previously unreprinted, but I don’t think that stuff was drawn by Kirby. How has Marvel restoration of golden age material been recently? I recall some of the first few Masterworks books going back to the 1940s had reports of spotty reproduction.

Regretfully Marvel’s treatment of Captain America this past year has been more then just spotty, It’s been an insult. I really do feel that as far as comics go, the people who work on the books now, do not care at all about how the work is.

Kind of goes for those awful two TV pilot Movies that CBS did on Cap in the 70’s. They were awful, and I don’t think Jack liked them either.

I do understand that Jack did like The Incredible Hulk TV show and even did an apperance on that show once.
