Upcoming Kirby - Rawhide Kid and more
Pair of Kirby reprints from Marvel just announced. The second RAWHIDE KID hardcover is a little surprising. That finishes up Kirby’s run doing RK stories, although he was still on covers for another dozen issues, plus a non-series western short. Really good issue of AVENGERS in this month’s AVENGERS CLASSIC, too.

-Link- Kirby: King of Comics delayed
Mark Evanier mentions that his book KIRBY: KING OF COMICS has been rescheduled for February of next year. A bit of a bummer for those of us looking forward to it, but I guess good news that it’ll be a better book for the delay.

I started the Jack Kirby Weblog with this post, originally on another site. I said at the time that my goal writing about every book in my own collection of Kirby comics would take “probably 3 years if I manage to do one a day, realistically much longer”. Boy, glad I was realistic. […]

New Kirby - Black Hole reprint
Over at ComicMix, Mike Gold notes that the latest issue of Disney’s COMIC ZONE digest includes a reprint of the first part of Jack Kirby’s run on the comic strip BLACK HOLE, based on the movie of the same name, from 1979. More info on that soon.
