Meanwhile, NASA is also curious and sends up a shuttle to take photos of the ship. Meanwhile, the rest of the Eternals are busy in the <a href=\"\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/archives\/533\">Uni-Mind<\/a> ritual, so Sprite is left to detect the danger and decides to enlist the help of the Forgotten One, a nameless Eternal exiled by Zuras for his pride and meddling in human affairs (and implied to be the source of various hero myths, I think he was made to be explicitly the source of the Gilgamesh story in later non-Kirby stories).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2006\/02\/The-Eternals-13-1977.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3367\" alt=\"The Eternals #13 [1977]\" src=\"\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2006\/02\/The-Eternals-13-1977-686x1024.jpg\" width=\"448\" height=\"669\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2006\/02\/The-Eternals-13-1977-686x1024.jpg 686w, https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2006\/02\/The-Eternals-13-1977-201x300.jpg 201w, https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2006\/02\/The-Eternals-13-1977-624x930.jpg 624w, https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2006\/02\/The-Eternals-13-1977.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sprite creates a space-suit and ship for the Forgotten One and then the representatives of the three races of Earth converge on the ship of the One Above All, who acts quickly and efficiently by switching the crews of the three ships, letting them each fulfill their missions after a fashion.<\/p>\n<p>I think these side-stories in this series are often better than the main action with Ikaris and the others.
