There was also a Sunday version, which ran for one year, from February 1959 to February 1960. \u00a0This strip is from Nov 22, 1959, probably written by some combination of Kirby, Dave Wood and Dick Wood and inked by Dick Ayers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/08\/k046.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4362 alignright\" src=\"\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/08\/k046.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"351\" height=\"245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/08\/k046.jpg 3000w, https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/08\/k046-300x209.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/08\/k046-768x535.jpg 768w, https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/08\/k046-1024x713.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/08\/k046-624x435.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 351px) 100vw, 351px\" \/><\/a>While some of the adventures of Major Sky Masters would take place in space, where we quickly go from the first space flights to a manned space station to the moon, a lot of them are set on Earth, with stories about the training for space flights, and various espionage schemes which have to be broken up. That&#8217;s the case in this storyline, as Sky have to pursue a stolen gyroscope right into a storm.
