He did draw a lot of covers for the series, including this early gem inked by Dick Ayers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image1022\" src=\"\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2006\/12\/KidColtOutlaw92_366.jpg\" alt=\"KidColtOutlaw92_366.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I really like the composition of this one, with the multiple levels, almost a 3-D effect.  The faces of the horses are great as well.
