{"id":2067,"date":"2010-08-17T18:21:37","date_gmt":"2010-08-17T22:21:37","guid":{"rendered":"\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/?p=2044"},"modified":"2010-08-17T18:21:37","modified_gmt":"2010-08-17T22:21:37","slug":"upcoming-kirby-1970s-cap-and-some-thor-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kirbymuseum.org\/blogs\/kirby\/archives\/2067","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming Kirby &#8211; 1970s Cap and some Thor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Several Kirby reprints just announced from Marvel.\u00a0 His complete 1970s run on Captain America, previously collected in 3 softcover volumes, gets a massive hardcover edition.\u00a0 A collection of a recent Thor storyline includes Kirby&#8217;s final issue of the series, and the following issues concluding the story he started, and a collection of 1970s Thor includes a run of a dozen issues, three of which featured Kirby covers.\u00a0 The new softcover release of Doctor Strange in the Masterworks line will apparently include the original covers, unlike the original hardcover release.\u00a0 It sounds like it&#8217;ll be all the covers, not just the handful that feature Doctor Strange, if so that&#8217;s a few Doctor Strange covers by Kirby , a lot of Human Torch covers (some with the Thing) and a few Nick Fury covers.\u00a0 Sadly they&#8217;re still cutting it off a few issues prior to finishing Ditko&#8217;s run.
