Major release from the latest solicitations is a big collection of the S&K Newsboy Legion features from the 1940s, containing most of their run (a second volume would be mostly non-S&K, except for some covers, and then about a half-dozen post-war stories by Kirby). Kirby’s first issue of KOBRA, presumably the published version with various rescriptings and pasteups, also gets reprinted with some later stories of the character. From Marvel, softcover Masterworks continue with FF v3 and ESSENTIAL AVENGERS v7 features a bunch of Kirby covers, plus a “dreaded deadline doom” issue that features a partial reprint of #16.<\/p>\n
