Tales of Suspense # 95 – Collisions – Sinnott

Over the last few days I showed you how different inkers like Syd Shores, Dan Adkins, Frank Giacoia, and George Tuska handled what I call “Kirby collisions” — explosive impacts where Jack uses a lot of speed-lines to symbolize the force of the impact. Everyone has a different taste, so this is all subjective, but I really enjoy the way Sinnott handled Jack Kirby collisions. Here are some examples from Tales of Suspense # 95 (Nov 1967) featuring Captain America with Sinnott on inks.
