Thanks for your observations. It is generally easier to say some work is not by a particular artist (Cap and Romita) then it is to say who did it (background figures and Burgos). I guess that suggests that I might have guessed correctly that the cover was not done by a single artist.

		<description>I don&#039;t believe that Romita was involved in this cover either. The background figures do indeed look like the work of Carl Burgos to me. I&#039;ve studied many Timely/Atlas covers and have a good idea of the differences between Borgos and Brodsky, although both worked together many time. 

As for the figure of Cap, that is a puzzle. I do believe it is someone other than Burgos,Brodsky or Maneely. The work looks familiar but I&#039;m not confident enough to suggest a name.
