Kirby swiped at times, as did many of the best. What I find wrong or upsetting are the artists that only swipe and blend many artists styles together with no sense of originality. Many artists swipe from others in an attempt to learn techniques and better themselves; if they only swipe to take shortcuts and add nothing to the mix they are copying and lack a distinct personality.
