Bernard Bailey did work for Joe Simon but that was on Alarming Adventures from 1962. I am not positive who did the contents page for Alarming Tales #2 but considering the Kirby-like poses I suspect it was Joe Simon as well.</description>

		<description>The fine linework in the pasted in bit suggest to me that it could also be the work of Bernard Baily, who also did the contents page of Alarming Tales #1 in a very similar style (which I used to take for Meskin&#039;s as well). Like the contents page a drawing such as this one would e an assignment. Did Joe Simon ship out some production work to Baily?</description>
